I actually don't know how I would feel if SE started adapting viera hairs to other races and left viera with what they have now!

On one hand, I'd love to see all the racial hairs unlocked for everyone. At the very least the ones that more than one, but not all, already have access to.

On the other hand, I'd be real annoyed if they gave Viera hairs out to anyone else before they give Viera any new hairs at all. Fix the disparity first.

While I haven't asked any dataminers about that one specifically, from what I understand most of them - even non-hyur racial exclusives - use hyurs as a baseline. So at least for some of them, enabling them for other races would be as simple or nearly as simple as flipping a switch.

I don't really care enough to nag someone to look up that hairstyle specifically but if someone does, I'd be mildly curious about if it's truly unique to vieras or if it's hyur-based like nearly everything.

It was a joke I don't find anything particularly unique about Viera heads that would preclude them from hairstyles, or other races getting theirs. But yeah, porting them should not be a thing until Viera/Hrothgar gets a bunch of hairstyles unlocked.

Viera just need more hairstyles in general. I'd also love some hair swaps from Viera to our other existing races! Especially Elezen, they have very lackluster hairstyles so a Viera Sideswoop would be a phenomenal addition to an Elezen. I do know Viera head models are somewhat smaller than other races head models which can explain why it's taking so long to get anything on Viera currently. They certainly need access to the Modern Aesthetics hairstyles and Mog Station Hairstyles.

Viera also need access to Matoya's Hat, with their ears just sticking up- Viera I feel wearing hats are waaaaaay more forgiving than let's say... Au Ra; who's horns stick out on the sides of their heads but Viera's ears seem more like they'd pop out atop the helmets/ hats which is mroe plausible than Au Ra horns on a helmet. That being said, Viera do need some more hairstyles & I'd be in total support of their hairstyles being added to other races.
If people showed the same kind of feedback about Viera hairstyles & Scholar Fairy Glamours as much as they did the 2B leggings, I think we'd actually see some work being done.
