    Unable to to download patch files [30413 , 25008, 20495, 20495]

    Situation:
Downloaded the game sucessfully a few days ago.
Had to reinstall windows 10 (Same Windows Version, Same Hardware, Same Settings).
I wiped everything and made a clean windows installation.

Since then i get the error:
    Unable to to download patch files [30413 , 25008, 20495, 20495]

Note: Final Fantasy 14 + VPN is the only installed software currently.

    Things that i tried:

    - Turning off Firewall
    - Turning off AntiVir

    - VPN: Works for a while and after downloading 2-5GB the following error appears: A problem occured while updating. Please restart Final Fantasy XIV. [11006, 20641, 20643]

    - DNS
    - New Windows Installation (Different versions)
    - Changing default browser
    - Deleting Temp files
    - Trying to uncheck "Read Only - Option" for the MyGames-FF14 Folder : Not possible

I tried to keep downloading but after every restart i could download less and less MB.
At the beginning i could download 2,5 GB and had to restart the download because of the error. Now the error appears after 90 MB.

    Questions:

    - Alternative download sources ? [Torrent etc. ]

Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

There are a few things you can try to alleviate this kind of download issue:

    1) If you are on a wireless connection, try connecting with an Ethernet cable.

    2) Try a clean boot. Simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. This will make sure that no background processes are interfering with the game.

    3) Make sure that Windows is completely up to date, including any optional updates.

    4) Check the following Port Ranges on your router/modem to ensure that they have been opened:
    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040
Your ISP can open these ports for you.

    5) The game will use the Internet Explorer web browser to connect to the internet. Open Internet Explorer, then open the "Tools" setting, go to "Internet Options" and adjust the following settings:
    - Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
    - Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
    - Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
    - Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
    - Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
    - Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
