Themed helmets for Heavensturn is a yearly tradition.

Like you said the Cloud hair is a rare reward, on the other hand, the Heavensturn's helmets are a seasonal event item meant for everyone to celebrate the new year...but two of the races cant wear them (well have them be visible). And I said have the helmet be the only reward, they could add a circlet, or hair clip in addition to the helm; more choices are not bad.

I am happy with my Viera, I can wear most of the head gear I would choose anyway. Usually I have head slot turned off completely. I generally don't change hairstyles much either once I'm happy. So this isn't a problem that applies to everyone who made a Viera. I certainly am not seeing less of them in game ( since most seem to wear the minimum possible, along with the height and bunny ears, they are hard to miss)

I haven't made a Hrothgar yet so can't comment there.

By all means state your unhappiness, folks, but please do so politely and don't assume everyone feels the same way

Most of their events are filled with trash housing decorations. Literally worthless. I feel like the majority of last years events sucked butt in comparison to other years in the first place.

I find it a bit disturbing that NEW ITEMS aren't made to fit Viera. I hope this changes and that we get some relief soon. 5.2 needs to be a turning point in the availability of hairstyles and other related items. I find it hard to understand why it's taking so long at this point.

Easy they don't bother with hats. Hair, that's just on the backburner.

This isn't limited to Viera and Hrothgar. Devs have either been busy with something or are overworked trying to keep up with the normal patch schedule. New jobs don't even have any primal glamour weapons nor do they have ultimate weapons. Heck even the last expansions new jobs didn't have their own ultimate weapons. They look like they're struggling right now with something. Previously I thought it might have been the Nier collaboration but with the loss of a dungeon, I'm beginning to suspect something is up.

My understanding was that the old hats would take time to come around but everything new following launch would be compatible. Guess I understood wrong.

What's funny to me is there are poor sods clinging to the hope of male viera, but if the team won't try to do new helms/hats why would they make males xD

Doubtful. Excluding helmets and hats are a design decision. That's why you really only see masks for viera. I'm more worried about them not doing any hair for viera. It would be nice if they designed race specific variants of new hats for them, but that isn't gonna happen.
