That seems kind of odd, due to the fact that it was the 2nd most populated server before the merger.

It's actually just the Eastern evetnt. Unless you are lagging while raiding/leveling? I haven't felt any change in lag tbh.

Haha the /sh in Uldah was actually a social function of Besaid. Lot's of launch players used to have some fun out there together and it wouldn't be uncommon to get a lot of interaction (in a fun way).

You should try joining in because you will be surprised how many fun folks there are!
