i have been suprised by the amount of shouts myself. on karnak it was always quiet, but i honestly don't mind it. at least it doesn't feel dead anymoreI'll focus on Ul'dah since I spend most of my time there. . . . Loud. That's my first impression @_@ My other impressions would be laggy, prone to crash and a city of invisible people due to game engine being unable to render big groups of people (move 2 steps in Aetherite plaza and you lose half the crowd you just had on the screen).
I do like the influx of people, I'm just mad at SE and the current game engine, but meh. . . . learning to live with it. Also, I'm perhaps not used to hearing whole conversations being carried out in /sh. Not sure how it were on other 2 servers, but Palamecia was rather quiet in that regard (not counting the LFP shouts of course). One thing is certain, it definitely feels more alive now.

its been pretty good, been able to get grps for things a TON faster than before.
im wondering of SE is gonna change the character limit thing any time soon, like, having a slider that you can move to change the limit, or an option to give party members priority over the other people in your area.
"Where is my Party Leader?"
"b4 u!"
O_____O all party invisible \o/
Momo Ochita From Ragnarok
I love it too... I honestly don't mind shout and say spam....
Its nice to see some liveliness
Its really cool
Its like launch... only a lot less laggy
The 40 character limit is a limitation of the client that Yoshi has said is one of the biggest things he don't like about it.its been pretty good, been able to get grps for things a TON faster than before.

We won't see a fix for that till 2.0 goes live.
I like frog
As sloppy as the merge was, it was well needed for this game. I feel like I'm apart of a community now, not just a group of friends.
It really has been pretty great. Met up with a player my LS and I helped 2 weekends ago who also needed last Pld quest and then found the rest of our PT really quickly. Now we all have new friends and such a great community that has been built on Aegis with the merge.
Man, it's so nice to log in and see people now. I was hanging out in Gridania and there were other characters running by...I had to wipe my eyes to make sure it wasn't just that the NPCs had started moving.
It's great to have people again!
