New player need help with DX11 issues, crashes, and endless loading!

Hello
I recently decided to get back into an MMO and as a FF fan I chose to give this game a shot. Currently I am having issues that are preventing me from enjoying the game and they are becoming very frustrating. The issues are as follow:

1. Direct X 11 crashes almost instantly or right after the character selection. No errors are displayed just a crash back to the desktop.

2. When using Dx9 mode I get crashes that display an error that will be at the bottom of this post.

3. When Dx9 mode allows me to play if I go to another zone it will stay on the loading screen forever and never load. Right now I cannot get into game as I exited during one of these loads, so I now have a forever load.

What have you tried so far in order to alleviate the issue? Has the error changed since this was posted?

I've been able to alleviate some of my DX11 crashes by running the game in compatibility mode for Windows 7. The game still dies occasionally, but it's not constant like before. I don't know why or how this helps me, but maybe it will help you. It's ironic because the game will be dropping support for Windows 7 on January 14.

As a side note, really what is up with this game and DX11 lately? For me it all started around Patch 5.1. Judging by the number of posts in here, both from AMD and NVIDIA owners, all clues point to an issue with the game itself and not user error. I really hope someone can communicate something to the Dev team because it's very frustrating to new and old players alike.
