1. Yes. There have been great improvements to how it was before. ARR Blue Mage felt like something that was interesting in concept, but something I ultimately used just to mess around a little bit. HW Blue Mage feels a lot more functional to the point where the biggest concern of playing it now is whether or not there will be a Tank in whatever duty I queue for. So it'd be nice to have the ability to see what other roles people are copying. Tank BLU could use more mitigation cooldowns than Diamondback (which is very expensive MP-wise), Healer BLU could use OGCD heals, and the job should also have a Limit Break by now.

2. I am tentatively optimistic for future BLU content, but I don't like the fact that "Limited Job" seems to be shorthand for only one AF Gear, 20 levels behind the curve, and very little in terms of new content with each update. While 5.15 made BLU more fun to play, it offered very little in terms of longevity. Gating the log behind Level 60 was also a mistake, I feel, especially given a number of duties within it are within the Level 50 range!

3. Maybe? Blue Mage is built up to be a collect-a-thon in multiple games, so I can understand it being the way it is. But what else could they do? I've heard Beastmaster, and that's interesting I suppose, but I'm not sure how many more Limited Jobs I should expect and whether or not it's worth making so many limitations for a handful of them.

4. The Job. The Masked Carnivale is very unfun, I find, mainly due to "You didn't bring this, so now you instantly take 99,999 damage with no warning" 'mechanics'. I find it more fun collecting the spells or using them to cheese mechanics or clown on mobs.

5. I went ahead and did all of the Achievements for BLU back when the only rewards were titles, so I appreciate having something more substantial tied to it.

6. I'm not sure. While I do like the idea of being able to use it in any content, current or otherwise, I feel like an unlimited Blue Mage would be firmly cemented into the DPS role and lose out on some of its unique aspects, like being able to throw out decent AOE heals that have an Esuna effect or operate as a substitute tank. Large pulls + Level 5 Death would make dungeons absurdly short, too, so undoubtedly that'd be nerfed more.

7. I'd like more reason to mess around with Blue Mage, but I also feel like it gets quite a lot compared to other jobs so maybe I just feel biased.

8. Having played with those tools, I'd be dissatisfied to have them taken away in favor of a bog standard rotation like every other job. Having a Lethal Joke Character Job that can destroy old content in new ways is pretty fun.

9. I did. Aside from Red Mage, Blue Mage is what I've used the most in Shadowbringers.

10. That I'm not a fan of.
