Question about the 2B leggings

I'm playing as a hyur male and I'm wondering why when I try on the 2b leggings it does not enhance my cake in any way I can see. My friends ass (female Au'ra) gets INCREDIBLY fat when wearing the leggings, but mine stays flat as a board. Why is this? Is square afraid of men with cake?? Why do I stay assless while my friends get cheeked up?? any response appreciated (:

The only people who know why are those who work at SE. While I tend to prefer eye candy to be on the feminine side of things (which is why I do occasionally play a female Highlander), I can understand what you're saying. It's not my cup of tea, but fair is fair, and male characters should have probably gotten some sort of enhancement. To be honest though, I was surprised that they let male characters wear the whole outfit at all with almost no alterations.

I spent a good 15 or so minutes putting the leggings on and off to spot any differences and I can confirm that males gain at least 2 pixels of ass.

But I think us guys deserve more than that. Gender equality, please.
Some party in the front would be nice if not some junk in the trunk.

Honestly a lot of FFXIV reeks of male insecurity. They had to be dragged on their heels to get bunny outfits for everyone. The dudes have basically no bulge. Options for men to be sexy are comparatively scarce or relatively conservative.

We are at least getting some ports of old female clothing for the guys shortly and vice versa but I do wish they'd just get over it and make things equal on both sides. Everyone deserves a booty. Everyone deserves to look bad ass. Everyone deserves to look pretty in a dress. Especially in the case of the dresses.

Yeah. It's going to be great. Really looking forward to the butler outfit in particular.

Shame stuff that isn't gender-locked but changes drastically based on gender will go unaltered. For example, women will never be able to wear Hildibrand's outfit, because it takes the form of Nashu's outfit when worn instead (horribly short skirt and cleavage cut included), largely due to the fact it is based on the Patrician's set. It would have been way better to have Hildi's outfit and Nashu's outfit be separate so we could have chosen.

Men always get more of the same (long pants etc) and females always get more of the same (short skirts/shorts) in general, even when it's the same item for females it's suddenly something completely different; trousers =/= miniskirt/bootyshorts SE

Anyways, yes butts please, for all! And while females have boobiesliders, give men the bulge, ktnx
