Immediately saw Louisoix and then realized nearly the entire End of an Era cinematic appears to be ripped off in this trailer. From the look of the guy himself, to his physical animations, to him teleporting his party members away, all the way to the guy with the axe at the end looking down over the valley.

Yeah there are a few familiar bits in this, and MAYBE there was some inspiration from our own grandpa martyr, but if that was the case then I'd honestly see it as a compliment. It's not a pure copy/paste or anything so *shrugs*

That said there are some similarities. Still, wouldn't call it a rip off but that's just me. Fact is - one of the best ways for the older folks in fantasy games to die is to be martyrs for the younger ones. It's a bit of a trope, but one I can respect if done right.

It's mostly his animations and how he looks that seem like they were lifted directly from End of an Era. Like the way he clutches his staff to brace himself to the face he makes as he's about to be blown away, and just his face in general, beard and everything lol.

Yeah they're still totally different overall but eh, still incredibly similar in specific ways.

Yeah it does seem grossly similar between the two. I guess you know you're that good with cinematic trailers when others start ripping from your ideas.

I can see some vague similarities but that's it at most. He isn't even the one that does the teleporting, the Khajiit is. All he is doing is keeping the blast at bay. The only moment that looked like it had any real comparison to the End of an Era is where he's leaning against the staff with two hands and well... I mean... that's not much.
