If you’re talking about streamers getting banned, hiding characters names would have solved most issues.

The recent ban was actually because the clip went viral in the JP community and the BLM got harassed because of it.
The clip had to be taken down and the streamer got banned.

If only the clip didn’t spread as much as it did, if the names were hidden.. this ban probably wouldn’t have happened.

You cannot control who sees the clip, but you can blur names in ACT and show initial letters on your screen.

In this case, even if people wanted to find out who the BLM was, they would use someones else footage or go to FFLogs (incase someone uploaded the run).
They will use other resources than the streamers clip = streamer is safe.

Even FFLogs offer players an option to hide their profiles/logs. You cannot use hidden information as proof of anything.

That is why when people complain about other players in a very popular thread here, they will hide names from chat log.
