While It would need more inventory/glamour dresser space, It would be pretty nice to have all those hempen designs unlocked for all races. I really like the top piece Au Ra girls haveA fix would be nice. I would also like an option to have a hempen camise NOT be a frilly shirt. I was so disappointed when I saw I couldn't have a basic halter top too, that thing could go with SO MUCH. As it is I use the camise dyed pure white so the lace is less prevalent.
Also I wish the lala haters would find better things to do than hijack all the lala threads to boast about how much they hate the sight of them. We get it and we don’t care. Those of us who play as lalas obviously enjoy them and while I can’t speak for others I do NOT view my character as a child in the slightest. I just think she’s adorable.

A simple example would be this one

must be a slow forum day, when people other than Titanmen are necroing old threads.
It's for a good cause in this case. Lalafells deserve a proper rear buff just, like all other races. After seeing what some people have done with No.2 Type B Leggings Lala model in the PC version (using the same model as the one for all other races), it actually looks good on them.

Meh they look fine to me. No need to taint the best race in game with more ERP glams.
I don't like how the No.2 Type B Leggings look like and how they modify the body, so I don't use them. But, they're the only ones I have that match Strife Vest on my miqo'te.
My lala retainer got it with my previous stuff: it looks... not nicely.
So, yes, fixing it on lalas would be nice!

This feels like conjecture on your part.mental gymnastics ahoy
they're written like that in game because the devs think the juxtaposition is humorous.
Halflings/dwarve/elves in western fantasy settings almost always have the physical features/proportions associated with a sexually mature humanoid, so conflating the two is pretty disingenuous. It really has nothing to do with ugly/cute.
You have to understand that Lalafell NPCs are regarded as adults and are sexualized by the game thru the implementation of Lalafell NPCs who are courtesans, suggestively flirtatious, or out-flat state having such histories and proclivities, in addition to the outfit and character design choices that the developers allow players to equip, animations, poses, etc.
It just doesn't make sense for it to be a running joke on SE's part with all of this being there.
Also, the excerpt from the page clearly intends to mean that the *outfit or its design* was "modeled on a high-spirited kindergarten-aged boy" not the character design itself. Had it intended to be interpreted as 'the character' and not the outfit, it would have been made more clear in both the Japanese text and the translation.
Edit: I found a page shot. It's very clear that it's referring to the outfit and not the character as a whole. This is furthered by the fact that the rest of the sentence seems to care more about the outfit design itself on both the segment for the Mi'qote.
Some people might disagree because ""Originally modeled on a spirited kindergarten-aged boy." is its own sentence, but that's just a formality. If the designers really did base the appearance and proportions of lalafell off of a real child, then they'd probably be more clear about that.
It's obvious to anyone with eyes and a brain that they do not resemble real-life children, even when compared against the other races within the game, and the fact that they are described by the developers as 'child-like' doesn't really prove anything either, since such an argument would misappropriate the term 'child-like' to mean something different.
It wouldn't be out of the ordinary to assume that they may have looked at how this type of clothing wraps around a child's body to gauge a sense of personal scale as to further their small stature, but it's also far more likely that they just had reference materials on-hand that were wholly artificial and just used those.
