It can also be solved by learning fights as well and knowing whats coming, script or no thats just how it is. If you see a mech dodge, being reactionary isnt bad thingIt's already like that now. If people don't pay attention or they're too close, they have less chance of dodging any wrench. The former is solved by paying attention while the latter is solved by scripted design so you know to put some distance before a wrench is thrown at you.
