In our public library, there is still a Win3.11 computer because there is no need to change the system - but that does not mean there are no new, better, faster systems.

The second portion is the same: Just because there is no WoW II, that's all. WoW created a massive wave of addicts with endless talkshows and documentaries in the mid-to-late 2000s, and that is coming from somewhere and won't go simply away. Like smoking. You can show people the negative effects - still there are hundres of millions of smokers. Also, if Blizzard is so good with their design directions, why would they have a "classic" version? Looks like neither direction of the game went so well eventually.

The gameplay of FFXIV is really not quick and it often like a choreography or a Japanese game show - be on Spot X when the annoying music and the blinking light stops, else... But I think it's quite the point of its path.

To the rest: Do not give the angry pub brawler with the Moogle mask more beer and snacks. He might be less angry when the game is translated in Spanish. . .

Classic was created to crackdown on private servers, look at the model updates for the new expansion, ffxiv designs are a reaction to the game being server based and not client side, imagine not having a fully scripted fight in a game that punishes you for moving a second too late.
