Does WoW have a faster pace than FFXIV?

You dont have to be pro raider in order to make an opinion about each class gameplay. Does it changes in raids so much in comparison to other content? Its same and its based on same few buttons spam, this is a mathematical fact. Your point on FFXIV is not valid especially since you think BLM gameplay to be worth a sleep which is absurd considering it is one of the hardest dps to optimize.

You can't talk about combat if the most you've ever done is two WQs. To the OP's question, is the pace faster? Yes, that's a fact.

FF has boring battles, that's why no one watch a stream of this game. It has no frenzy, its classes have too basic a procedure. The dragoon's aoe rotation is so easy that one thinks if they really wanted humans or bots to play (which plague the game, by the way).

I don't know, you don't have to watch out for procs, debuffs, difficulty. You can do the dungeons with your toes because the tanks don't lose any aggro, I mean... what are you talking about, boy.

DPS's are laughable, man, they're easier than the mechanism of a pacifier. You're talking about the BLM, which is a turret whose maximum difficulty is to see where you put the little circle to keep hitting the 1-2-3 until you pass out or lose consciousness.

And why are you suddenly comparing crafting to the combat for both games? Wow does not even have a reliable crafting system...

It must be sad that even if they lost so many players (a fact that you get out of that place where the sun never shines) that game is still the king and the symbol of the MMO. This will remain for the rest of the story, while FFXIV will be remembered as that game with cat girls where the most interesting thing is to make an instagram or try on outfits.

I prefer not to talk about the millions of visits Classic has had in Twitch, while FFXIV is not seen by absolutely nobody. For a game from fifteen years ago to paint your face like that... sad sad sad...

Lvled all dps classes, my rogue outlaw is still more fun to play (PvP and PvE) than all FFXIV classes. BLM was so damn boring to play, i had to use tons of podcast to not exit the game while using that character, hahahahaha.

Lets not talk about PvP neither becausssssssssssssse, this game have it at all?, i dont know. Playing that mode with this game's GCD is awful and so boring.

Classic wow has only about 240k people active in the last 7 days according to one site that monitors active players count, thats not too big, niche multiplayer tank games has more than that.

The fact is fast combat in WoW has been compromised by the lack of skill diversity and gameplay, which makes you spam few same skills over and over. No one who actually plays wow will tell you that their game class design is good, it gots so much worse after legion and a ton of people left the game because of the changes implemented to make the game more casual friendly.

Well, if we're telling people to try WoW, then I would say wait until Shadowlands (the upcoming expansion) is released next year since WoW is changing its class design (again, it seems), this time to put more emphasis on the class itself rather than the specializations. (I'm kind of worried about it myself as I love how my Fire Mage works right now, and I hope the change does not mean I'll have to use the Frost elemental as Fire, etc.)

What's sad about it? If you're enjoying the game, then why would you care what other people think of it? Or if you don't enjoy the game, then why continue playing it? Either way, what other people think is irrelevant unless enough people abandon a multiplayer game such that you cannot find enough people reliably to do what you want in the game. And that point (or maybe even before then), a multiplayer game might die, but until then, enjoy what you like.

Also, you say some people in this forum are ruining FFXIV. I say some people in WoW forum who agree with how Blizzard handles flying and allied race in WoW are ruining that game, but it's all subjective in the end.
