    Guess what... direct x crashes.

    Game crashes with the direct x 11 fatal error. As with many others. Switching to direct x 9 does not work. Seems like this issue has been widespread for a long time as there are youtube videos discussing the issue dated back to 2017. Ive tried the usual auto response the tech team gives. Compatibility mode, uninstalled and reinstalled my graphics drivers to latest, etc. Saw people claiming down clocking their GPU to factory stock speeds seems to help. Most of us buy after market cards that are overclocked out of the box so this can be a pain in the butt to do. Ill give it a go and report back.

    If you have Nvidia

    I had the same issue. Until I turned off ANSEL from Nvidia. However i could not do this from the app Geforce Experience or the control panel i had to download another nvidia program which can manually turn off stuff from Nvidia. Once i turned it off its been running great. Again if you have a nvidia graphics card then this might work. The link to the app is below.

    I apologize for the delay in our response to your concern. Where in game does the crash occur? Could you also provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
