Virus in the game?

my Bullguard virusscanner relocated a file from FF14 into its quarantaine while the game was updating. is this indeed a virus or a false positive?

Edit: despite this virus alert, the game updated and booted normally.

Was the game client downloaded from the official website? Additionally, could you try uninstalling the game completely and reinstalling the game?

The game was downloaded from the official site, and despite this alert reportedly blocking a file, the game works well. I can try reinstalling it to see if i can replicate the issue.

Reinstall is in progress now. I will have an answer in 70 minutes. (Just to be accurate i deleted the quarantained file off of the PC before starting the install)

Allright. The game reinstalled and this time my virusscanner reported no issues. So i guess it indeed was a false positive.
