    Download speed halved.

Hello, I have a problem since Shadowbringers came out with the new launcher. I have 2 PCs connected to the same router via cable. One gets 2.5mb/s locked speed and the older one easily goes my full speed which is 4.5-4.8mb/s. This has not happened before and is a new thing. I tried reinstalling lan drivers, updating bios and many other things along with port forwarding and windows defender stuff but it still won't go over 2.5mb/s. I even reinstalled the game and deleted the documents FFXIV files. Any help would be appreciated... don't really want to reinstall windows because of FFXIV. And also everything else downloads at 4.8mb/s speed on this PC except FFXIV.

Good morning and thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Does this issue occur when one computer is not connected to the internet? Have you tried changing the Internet Explorer settings? If not, please use the following:

Open the IE browser, open the "Tools", go to "Internet Options" and adjust the following settings:
    - Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
    - Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
    - Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
    - Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
    - Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
    - Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.
    - Right-Click on the FFXIV launcher icon and select "Properties"
    - Go to the "Compatibility" tab, and change the compatibility mode to "Windows 7"
    - Hit "Apply", then "OK" to save the changes.
    - Please RESTART your PC now. Once your PC has been restarted, Right-Click the FFXIV launcher icon once more and select "Run as Administrator"

So I tried all of those settings and still nothing, still stuck at 2.5mb/s download. Having only this PC or both PCs connected to the internet make no difference sadly, I tried having only my current PC connected and no change FFXIV still downloads slowly compared to every other program. Old PC still downloads at 4.8mb/s if I start updating the game. Its like there is a limiter or something for FFXIV only on this PC but I tried everything (that I know of) except registry and windows reinstall. Any more help is appreciated and thank you so far even though it did not really help :/ for now.
