    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

    for some reason I can,t install ffxiv, I keep receiving this message all the time.

    I tried many solutions include uninstalling and reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library, updating GPU, and updating win 10.
    any idea in hoe to fix it?

    Good morning and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    If you have not done so already, could you try downloading and reinstalling the redistributable files? To do so please use use the following:

    -Go to the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) page

    -Click "Download." button. When it finishes downloading, go to the next step.

    -Double-click the downloaded file.

    - Follow the instructions in the "Installation Wizard."

    unbelievable, I had to create a local account in win 10 to install the game and use the same account to download the game.
    any reason why is this happen? I need to know.

    Unfortunately, we would be unable to pinpoint the exact cause of the issue as we do not know what is installed on the computer. I'm glad you were able to resolve the issue. If you experience it again, please create a new thread.
