    If the character you’re posting on (Red Echo @ Kujata) has the Legacy Chocobo on it, then it’s your Legacy character. Does the character you’re posting on have the Legacy ‘Bo? The Lodestone is showing it on there.

    Yes. I've got the Legacy Chocobo on this character. I honestly don't remember having any other character other than this one. So what the GM said can't be true. Unless, of course, I really do suffer from memory loss.

    Any character your roll, no matter when you rolled it, during 1.0 or today, will get the legacy chocobo. The mark, the 1.0 mounts (gobbue) and the drops from 1.0 exclusive duties is the only thing you wont get on any post 1.0 character.

    Also check your achievements. Those wont carry to a new character, but if you have any legacy achievements, its definitely a 1.0 character.

    I don't believe this is true, all characters on a legacy account have the legacy chocobo. I can't check right now because not near my PC but I'm pretty sure all my alts have the legacy chocobo. Only Elai has the tattoo tho

    Yes, all characters on a legacy account get the chocobo. Only 1.0 chars will have the mark, and only those who did the quest have the goobbue.


    @op, did you check the Japanese datacenters as well?
