Make it Rain event has bonus to MGP acquisition. You've been playing for so long now you should know this.

other exp type buffs are not necessary. FC actions and running as whatever in need bonuses are sufficient.

I still prefer exp and double gil stuff. All that glamour stuff/hairstyles/music/mounts is nothing but just rp. All really useless. I prefer something more useful

Glamour is the true endgame. You underestimate how much people prefer those “only useful to RP” items as opposed to experience buffs.

Experience is already really easy to come by. Stormblood pre-orders gave people the Ala Mhigan Earrings for +EXP gain under level 50. Shadowbringers pre-order gave the Aetheryte Earring for +EXP level 70 and below. Then there’s FC Buffs, food buffs, Road to 70 for those on preferred worlds, and EXP buffs given to the old MSQ—people end up over-leveled for things extremely easy even without the earring buffs on top of all the other ones (Road to 70 is extremely broken, btw). I wouldn’t call more EXP buffs particularly useful, personally.

And Gil is easy to make. Even for non-crafters. I wouldn’t call double Gil more useful either.

Gil and exp is useless to me.
I have nothing to buy and nothing left to level.
