On light Datacenter, a lot of the players went to Adders. Now Adders are winning 90% of the Games but has 25 minutes queue while others have 5 minutes.

This is an alt. I am also on Primal. Maelstrom during peak is what got me my makai mounts, all glams and enough wins to max out seals multiple times. It really wasn't.
Crystal may not be having the same experience Primal is where Adders are stacked right now with many experienced players. Granted it also means 30+ minute queues at peak hours if you swap to Adders.
Constructively OP, I'd suggest going Freelancer, just on the off chance that you do end up on one of the winning teams. I've won on Adders, Flames and Maelstrom since the patch released. You don't have too much PvP experience, but over time you'll get the wins you need. Also I'd suggest sticking with the team at all times. NEVER go off by yourself and if you see your team splitting call for them to gather back up. Take every chance you can to pinch the team that is in the lead, it will help form battle highs for your team. Make ping macros and try to take charge of the situation too. Let the enemy teams fight over mid often. a lot of times you can gather B ranks around the map while mid is being fought over. 2 B ranks is an A rank, so at the start it may be best to avoid A ranks and gather B ranks. Hopefully that helps.
Is someone calling out objectives and willing to herd cats? No? Prepare to lose. I went freelance, got Eternal Shames, and they lived up to their name. Adders seem to be about goals, which is good. Maelstrom when full of freelancers - Failstrom. Maelstrom when actually Maelstrom= Maelstronk.
There is no de-facto key to winning, because you have to rely on your group at the time to listen, you yourself not giving trash advice (I have seen this before, someone wants to play RTS with a bunch of strangers and ends up leading the alliance to failure), and people willing to agree to keep everyone on track. Not everyone will take kindly to being told what to do. This is not a trial with absolute outcomes to input. You would have an easier time rolling for 0 or 999 with /random.
You obviously haven't played Primal since the drop of Onsal. This is an alt. I am also on Primal. Maelstrom during peak is what got me my makai mounts, all glams and enough wins to max out seals multiple times.

Pvp Enthusiasts used to be on Maelstrom because, at least on Primal, it was the place to be for PvP. And they would win about 45% of games.
Everyone went to Adders once the release of the new map, it got stacked, I had to wait 40 minutes for queues so I went to Flames last Sunday.
This is me on flames with a mix of Freelancer, no Adder games. I use call outs, I take charge. Experience wins games. I'm just trying to use what little a solo player can do at a greater magnitude.
Now I start drinking milk. Grow big and strong.
And try find discord friends.
Forced freelancer kick in, no need for discord friend xd
Well, how about that. Maybe this had something to do with it.

I'm stupid, what does this mean? That queues got absolutely smoked after forced freelance because maelstrom couldn't or wouldn't fill and now it's fixed? Or why Maelstrom was so good even if the best players on it Freelanced.Well, how about that. Maybe this had something to do with it.

Doesn't it mean that the duty finder was stacking premades all into Maelstrom. Even the duty finder is plotting to help Maelstrom win more. So if premades were freelanced a long time ago, was it working properly even then?
But it sounds like they need to put a lot more effort into how the que works for pvp. And maybe when they get a decent system in place they will add 8 man parties back.
No, it had been broken since 3.5 when they added the ability to go as Freelancer.
Essentially, premades were placed in each GC based on priority. Mael > Adders > Flames. If Mael were full of people with freelancer turned off, they went down the priority list to Adders and so forth. This in turn caused multiple premades to matched together.
The JP playerbase caught on to this very quickly after 5.18 dropped. They even had a poll on Twitter to see how random it really was (or wasn’t, in this case)
