Low key I kind of want Mick Gordon to create some songs for this game. Like create some Job specific theme songs for each of the jobs.

I feel that way as well but with Camillia or DA Games instead of Mick Gordin
I never liked the idea of another dev team from a totally different unrelated game, making content for FFXIV. It might seem brillaint to Yoshida, but to me it just confirms that they are running out of ideas for content and gonna just settle for outsourcing help.
I 100% agree with this statement, also gimme a raid in Thavnair or Koshu if you refuse to let us in their lands
Kevin Smith.
None, unless they know how to place their creations firmly within the XIV universe.
Aside from Yoshi-P wanting to create something with his friends and other developers, the idea behind why they bring in guest creators is because he didn't want to be stuck on the same routine and believes that sticking to the same development cycle will lead to content becoming stale and repetitive. Bringing in an outside creator allows them to break the mold and attempt new things that nobody within the development team would've thought of. If anything, bringing in guest creators actually pulls them out of their comfort zone since they have to develop the content outside the established rules that they created for themselves.
Bringing in guest creators isn't all about taking ideas from other creators and delivering them to players, it's also about learning from them to grow and improve as developers.
The Yo-kai Watch, Monster Hunter: World, and even the Final Fantasy XIII & Final Fantasy XV collaborations are non-canon I believe and are there just for fun so you can pretend that it's not in-universe if you want. Return to Ivalice and YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse are canon but they are supervised by Naoki Yoshida and Banri Oda themselves to fit within the world of Final Fantasy XIV so you don't have to worry about ideas going out of control. The Ivalice content in Final Fantasy XIV are also not the same ones from Final Fantasy Tactics or Final Fantasy XII and are created with the idea of how the characters and nations would be if they existed in Hydaelyn rather than straight up pulling from the games they originated from and forcing a shared universe. I think Yasumi Matsuno has done a great job integrating his creations in the game. It also helps a lot that he is a big fan of Final Fantasy XIV and its lore. I'd be upset too if a nonsensical creation from an outside developer that doesn't fit within the XIV universe is made canon.
FFXIV developers themselves have also pulled creations from other universes as well such as Crystal Tower from Final Fantasy III, Palace of the Dead from Tactics Ogre, Magitek from Final Fantasy VI, Ronso from Final Fantasy X, and many more. It wouldn't hurt to bring in the developers that originally created them to begin with. After reading an interview on Final Fantasy III, it would actually be interesting to get Koichi Ishii as a guest since he was the one who designed many of the popular Final Fantasy jobs and also created both the Moogle and the Chocobo.
I'd like for Yoko Kanno to be brought in to write a song or two personally. Her huge amount of versatility would mean that she could be brought on to write pretty much anything and it'd likely fit right in line with Soken's scores.
