So you stayed away from Rathalos, NieR, The Last Remnant gear, and disregard all low key fanservice for other titles in a fanservice mmo? Oh, and let's not forget fan designs. Actually, especially fan designs.
Hironobu Sakaguchi would be an very awesome guest creator for the game - though I think I'd like to see something from Chrono Trigger, XenoGears, Blue Dragon, or Lost Odyssey.
Koichi Ishii would be nice - he was the designer/director of the Mana series.
Tetsuya Nomura and Shinji Hashimoto would be interesting - for the fact that they're from Kingdom Hearts, and I'd love to see some twist on things on that end.
Hidetaka Miyazaki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidetaka_Miyazaki
Japanese video game director, designer, writer, and company president of FromSoftware. He originally joined them in 2004 as a game designer for the Armored Core series, and soon became internationally known for directing the Souls series, starting with Demon's Souls in 2009. Other notable games he has directed include Bloodborne and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
I didn't even think of this but honestly? Yeah, I absolutely love a lot of Aion's outfits. The game's changed an absolute ton since I first played it, and I can't for the life of me figure out the new 'glamour' system (if it's even still a thing) but they had some really awesome designs over the years. Especially for caster gear.
Maybe Keikenchi, creator of Koha-Ace and some of my favorite characters and spoof of the fate series. I just love the meta humor and the fun characters and I think that could be interesting for FFXIV to get. I also like military uniforms and Keikenchi makes use of them, so I'd love more military-esque uniforms offered in FFXIV.

Steven Moffat to write a questline for Halloween events. He's written some pretty creepy episodes for Doctor Who.
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
That would be an awesome raid fight and title. xD
Agreed 100%. I joined FFXI right at the end of CoP and about a year before ToAU came out, so it was not only my "my first MMO" but also my "my first expansion" and I loved both of them. I was never really a big endgame raider in FFXI, but I was always throwing together things like BCNM 30 "Royal Jelly" or Nyzul Isle runs anytime I had beastcoins/tags to burn. There was never a dull moment for me in FFXI, unlike FFXIV were every time I come back to play I end up getting bored after about 2 month and taking a long break to play other things while new content piles up for a bit.CoPs story wasn't just amazing, most of the content it added was too (similar deal with ToAU, those two expansions were really the golden years of that game). Honestly XIV could do to take a lot of ideas from that period in XIs history... They took a lot of mobs and models from CoP for Eureka, but the concepts they took over really didn't match... Give me Limbus, Nyzul Isle, Assaults, etc. not XI coloured FATEs... One of the biggest failings with BA, IMO, was that it tried to mix two concepts that don't mix, you have a Besieged style "world" event, mixed with XIVs utter disdain for making content last more than a few patches... The result? Well now it's unplayable. If it was designed more like Limbus? That would have been great. Something modular, something you work up to earning items to enter a final boss for. Heck my favorite suggestion for something like Hunts in this game is to just point at things like ZNMs and gesture angrily at how horrible Hunts are in comparison... Do people actually like just mindlessly following a train to zerg bosses? I find it so much more satisfying to have something I can work on individually, or with friends, that builds up to something big that requires more organized grouping... That way there's always something I can do, if people aren't on I can farm the lower tier NMs to prepare more higher tier ones for when people are available... There's progression to engage with there, sitting in a train is just mindnumbing in comparison...
Well, since I don't really want to start a full on FFXI vs. FFXIV war on the forums right now I'm going to leave it at that. ^^;
Tetsuya Takahashi, creator of the Xenogears/saga/blade series.
Or Yasuyuki Honne, the man behind Baten Kaitos. An entire raid tier with Motoi Sakuraba working with Soken on music? Musical ecstasy awaiting us.
Hironobu Sakaguhi coming back to Final Fantasy even as a guest creator would certainly be legendary. Koichi Ishii would also be great since it's thanks to him that moogles and chocobos exist in Final Fantasy.Hironobu Sakaguchi would be an very awesome guest creator for the game - though I think I'd like to see something from Chrono Trigger, XenoGears, Blue Dragon, or Lost Odyssey.
Koichi Ishii would be nice - he was the designer/director of the Mana series.

As for Tetsuya Nomura, he's currently a guest creator for Final Fantasy XIV with the Eden raid actually. So he's currently involved with the game. I'm looking forward to his designs when the second part of Eden comes out.
You want players to keep dying in dungeons don't you? lolHidetaka Miyazaki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidetaka_Miyazaki
Having him on board as a guest would definitely challenge a lot of players in a very fun way.
I totally forgot about Tetsuya Takahashi. He would certainly be an amazing guest that I would like to see. Him and his wife Soraya Saga could definitely bring something interesting to the game.
Whoever it takes to get us Chrono Trigger.
