What was your most embarrassing ingame moment?

These days it seems like everyones constantly complaining about others and never really consider our own worse moments. Im sure we\\'ve all had raids, trials, or dungeons where we just make a total fool of ourselves and have been that "one idiot" in the df.
So, i ask everyone, what was your most embarrassing run ever? Maybe it was just a silly little mistake, or maybe you just wanted to run away and hide after you did it!
Now, what kind of person would i be if i didn\\'t start and share 2 of my favorites? (Or rather, least favorites!)

My first would be when i was running Brayflox and just started ast. I never got dinural sect like an idiot and the first pull we wiped! Because of my lack of regen it was all small pulls all the way. I swear i almost wanted to quit healing after that, glad i didn\\'t. Well one things for sure, i ran and got dinural after that.

And my second one, this one was probably also one of my worst tank runs ever. So i had taken a break from the game and the first dungeon i got was Aurum Vale. I tried to pull the *entire* room and wiped the party... twice... because they chased us back to the spawn area. On top of that i forgot i didn\\'t have hallowed ground yet AND im pretty sure i didn\\'t iron will at first either (been so long i cant say tho). Lets just say after that i was tempted to just leave the party and uninstall the game! At least i learned an important lesson: never wall to wall aurum vale, especially after a long hiatus.

When I first started playing in ARR, at some point I messed with the chat settings. From I want to say level 25-44ish I would enter dungeons and such and no one would speak. I couldn't figure out why. Turns out I had turned off party chat. I shudder to think how many people I irritated along the way.

Probably the time my Healer died at the beginning of a dungeon and I asked if they DPSed a mob way too much to pull aggro. Then about five seconds later I noticed my tank stance wasn't active. I apologized profusely.

Mine was back when Ravana EX was current. I was farming it for my (MNK) weapon, and it dropped after only like three runs, with no other monks in the party. So I was super excited that I got it that quick and did my need roll knowing that I would win the roll... and promptly used the exit because in my excitement that I was getting my weapon, I completely overlooked the fact that not everyone had rolled on it yet. Ultimately, I used tokens to buy it later, because it didn't end up dropping again before I got enough tokens for it.

First dungeon as a Gladiator I forgot to do the quest that gives you a shield. Luckily the party was understanding. Double lucky I already had the mage shield.

Once did cutters as a leveling AST. Wondering why I was so squishy. Turns out I didn't have pants on. They were in my inventory.

Back two years ago, while I was on leveling roulettes with my friends. We didn't know who was our tank, but he was pretty bad with his job. I wanted to complain to my friends ... and I wrote in the party instead of the linkshell. He could read everything, aha. I felt so stupid and embarrassed. Since that day, I learned to explain to others what is really wrong with their gameplay and I stopped complaining, lmao.

So I was unlocking Suzaku as RDM (I think some of you might already know where this is going...) and I flipped myself off the ledge pretty quickly, blurted out an apology, got a res, and then did it again like 30 seconds later thanks to muscle memory. The third time I jettisoned myself off the platform that fight was because I accidentally clicked it while trying to remove it from my bars so I wouldn't do it again, but that time was so close to the end of the fight I don't think anyone noticed... it was embarrassing and I've no doubt some probably thought I was a lazy troll. I really should have just done MNK, though I imagine that might have gone just as bad for similar reasons. I don't know why I chose to use a job I was rusty/unfamiliar with for that fight.

And then there's the mistells...

Well my most mortifying moment in this game was actually 2 hours after the patch with Rabanastre dropped and a friend of mine and I decided we were going to do it (because we both stayed up late just for that). We had an excellent learning group but at the last boss we were getting low on time and were in pretty poor shape. Someone announced in Alliance chat to wipe and reset so our Alliance who as all dead returned assuming a reset was imminent. Unfortunately the other two Alliances decided not to do that and we ended up getting snarked for our 'carry'. We eeked by with just enough time to spare and even though it was my first time in the raid, I did a walk of shame, not rolling on anything in the last chest.

My personally most mortifying moment was during a Trials roulette duting HW, where my old FC leader and I decided we were going to both go tank and we got Steps of Faith. Less than 10 minutes in, our group mysteriously vanished. Less than a minute later, so did we. *coughs*

Oh...this reminds me of one.

Me and my co-healer friend and sometimes other people in my FC would get drunk and queue for 24 man raids, because drunk healing was a lot of fun. So one time, we were plenty sloshed, we queued for World of Darkness when it was still on content and found ourselves carrying the healers of the other alliances. Now, I ended up making all kinds of jokes to our FC chat because I found it amusing because I had taken a toilet break before the run and could barely walk, yet, could still carry the party. However, I'm not a s**t talker to people in parties, so I only addressed my FC as to not offend anybody.

Then I noticed that none of what I said was in FC chat. It was in alliance chat.

And I was like "oh..."

And suffice to say, we still continued with our drunk runs, at least until Ivalice came out, because we never liked the Ivalice raids and thus that tradition ended.

Though I guess in the spirit of the thread, I'll find something foolish rather than me accidentally being an a**:
I recently tanked Kugane Castle and was really struggling to understand why I kept losing aggro because I'm not a bad tank, I've tanked a lot in this game and never had this much trouble, I checked no gear was broken or anything like that, the healer started struggling and we wiped and the healer was not very happy and was calling me out for my lack of tank stance and I was like "oh...yeah, s**t" but because he was doubling down for what was obviously a mistake the others had my back we gave some heated comments back, especially as despite my error, he stopped healing to hardcast a raise anyway, which means he wasn't exactly on top of the game himself. So I ran to make the next pull and guess what I didn't have on? A tank stance.

Long time ago during Heavensward in Dun Scaith back when it was still fairly new, we were are Diablo, and I was on the opposite side of Diablo far away from my party and out of range of the healers.

So I thought to myself hmm maybe I'd better get a little closer.

An AoE circle appeared at my feet so I just ran straight forward to avoid it, straight through Diablo and the Tanks/Melees to our Healers.

When I got to the healers on the other side I turned around and see this ball just pummel through the entire wad of tanks and melees and just wreck the entire group while following me.

I'm like... Oh Crap it was one of the ball things.

So... after some intense moments and raising the tanks back up, then the melees while dodging Diablo... we survived but barely.

In alliance chat I'm seeing... "Ok Who's the dick who just did that?"

I quietly slunk into the shadows feeling about two feet tall.
