If it's against the ToS and SE has proof that meets their standards, it's punishable.

    From last month:
If SE's banning dataminers, can they finally go after RMT in PF?

There was also the nude mod thing earlier in the year.

Has anyone been suspended or banned for using a parser on stream?

Yes. You can already remove underperformers from your party without having to use a parser.

    It was never allowed.

The PF ads have been up for years and are visible to thousands of players in-game each day. They have not commented on that, so why would they comment on this? Lack of consistency will only become a problem if it can be proven they look the other way for some players or hold a grudge against others.

It's possible they only act in some instances based on the source of the evidence. If that's the case, they definitely won't say as much.

    There are only two:
    1. Potential for improper suspension - Same hysteria was seen with the ToS revision and I haven't heard of anyone getting in trouble for providing advice without insulting. If a streamer getting in trouble for parse shaming on their stream blew up, imagine if someone received a suspension for asking someone to AoE or to use damaging spells.

    2. SE needs to be consistent with their ToS enforcement - If there are no tangible downsides to it (loss of subs, money), why should they care? It's been business as usual for the past several years and they've had nothing but an increase in subs and good reviews. That's not going to change because they decided to enforce some rules here and there.

    What?! Avoid detection? From what?

Right now, it seems like saying a single swear word accidentally or not is a grounds for a ban, but we have no idea because SE isnt transparent enough. How is not knowing if cursing is a bannable offense "avoiding detection"?
