Not defending the oft-elitist behavior of the prominent streamers or anything, but I don't think it can be argued that their influence is overall more of a net positive for the game because of the exposure the competitive raiding gives things and that if they decided to shut down all of them like this would probably do more harm for the community then good.

I agree that he helps a lot with his streams and they're really fun, but this shouldn't give him a pass to do everything he wants, it's also not uncommon for companies to do this kind of stuff, XQC is like one of the biggest streamer in twitch right now and he were banned in overwatch more than once cause of his really toxic behavior on stream.
