It's a term often applied incorrectly to belittle anybody born before a certain point, namely the 'baby boomer' generation. Often it's just another form of discrimination, ironically, since it's technically ageism when used negatively - and anybody living in the real world will be well aware that the 'boomer' generation are a very mixed bag when it comes to their views.

It follows an interesting trend, though. Often those who get up in arms over discrimination tend to resort to it themselves, even if unknowingly.

As for the topic at hand, I can't recall seeing any inappropriate names within the game itself. If I ever did, I'd probably just shrug and move on with my life. Maybe report it if it was genuinely in poor taste.
