    Error 10105

I play on PS4 and have been receiving this error code since Saturday, 12/14/19. I was able to go to a friends house to test and was able to play on their internet on Sunday, but when I got home on Sunday to check if the issue had been resolved, whatever it may be, at my home I was getting the error again. I have been playing at my home up until Saturday afternoon without issue. I tried contacting customer support and was not able to receive any helpful insight into the issue.

My modem has been restarted at home without any resolution to the issue.

Good morning and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Are you connected directly to your router or are you using WiFi? Were any updates or changes made to your network settings?

Sorry for the late reply. I was uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and then it worked for about a week. Today I'm experiencing the same issue. I'm able to log in on an alternate character but not my main character. I've been connected via wifi and there haven't been any changes to the router.

Good morning and thank you for the reply.

Could you try port forwarding using the following:

Port Forward – open the following ports ranges on your router:

    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040
These are remote ports in your router’s firewall. They designate what can send information to your PC and what cannot. These specific ports are used by the game to connect to the local client.
