Sudden and constant disconnects on PS4 Pro

This issue has been ongoing since Friday, December 27th.
When I was at my first Notorious Monster FATE in Eureka Pyros, I was suddenly disconnected and given a 90006 error. This happened 2-3 more times that night. I re-installed the game that night, thinking maybe it was on the PS4's end. (When I first bought this one, I had to move the game from the extended storage to the physical ps4 because my retainers were DCing me. I thought that perhaps something similar was happening.)

On Saturday, I was disconnected again around 5 more times in Pyros, each time was again at a Notorious Monster. I ended up deciding to take a break and was disconnected 2 more times just sitting in Kugane. So I moved all of my games besides XIV to the extended storage, backed up my character data, and backed up all of my PS4's system data, then restored the PS4 to default settings and reset the internet connection.

After all of this, I am still getting disconnected and its now happening roughly once every half hour to hour regardless of instance, zone, or what I'm doing. I have everything set up for a full factory reset with the PS4, but I am wondering if I've missed a step or if this issue is even client/hardware-side.

A response and some help would really go a long way at this point. I'm getting increasingly frustrated. I bought the game on PS4 so I could play with my S/O, but that's difficult to do if I'm getting DCD like this.

Good morning and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums

Are you connected directly to the router or are you using WiFi? Additionally have you tried port forwarding? If not, please try the following:

Open the following ports ranges on your router:
    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040

These are remote ports in your router’s firewall. These specific ports are used by the game to connect to the local client.

Thank you for your response and the help!

I am using Wifi. I tried port forwarding and that only made the issue worse. However, that did give me the idea to try switching from my wifi extender to the actual router. After having a stable connection for a little over an hour, its looking like I may have finally found the issue. If I'm wrong I'll update, but for now I think this can be marked as resolved.
