Echo Drops still working in palace?

I noticed Echo Drops doesn't work anymore in duties (e.g., Amon's sleep), I wonder, is that still usable in potd/hoh?

Should work on any 'silence' related negative status that has that little blue/white bar on the top of it. That little bar means it can be dispelled with esuna or medicine.

Echo Drops specifically cure silence - not sleep and not any Esuna-curable status, although it probably does need to be marked-as-curable Silence.

I do wish they were more usable outside of Palace... but as people have said it needs to actually be cleansable. So, a Silence icon on its own cannot be cleansed, but a silence icon with a white bar on the top can. Usually folks just have the healer take care of it since it's usually not worth having a DPS waste a GCD on it.

If a caster is silenced, then that caster wouldn't be able to use any GCDs while silenced anyway, so they absolutely should Echo Drops themselves if they're affected by a removable silence unless they're a RDM who just happens to get silenced at the exact moment that they're ready for a melee combo or in the middle of one.

Last time I ran PotD (last month) Echo Drops still worked (are are absolutely necessary for any healer there)

I keep Echo Drops and Spine Drops on me at all times and they're very handy.

Fair, I was kinda saying why medicine in general isn't used (for example you never see people using spine drops for paralyze or antidotes for poison.) In this specific example yeah, it can be better to remove it yourself... though that said I can't actually think of many cleansable silences outside of PotD.

What made me wonder, is when Amon sleeping the ally, in the near past Echo Drops did remove the status, but today it doesn't anymore. Hidden change maybe.

Edit: echo drops won't works anymore even in the guildhests. Witnessed in the one you have to kill the Sylphie at the end.

Echo Drops work just fine on any Silence debuff with the white bar at the top indicating it can be cleansed in some manner. If it doesn't have the white bar, then they aren't going to work.

I have never seen them able to cure Sleep in 5 years of playing. Amon's fight has an attack that will Silence everyone. That can be cured by Echo Drops as I've cured myself as healer at that point.
