Snort requires some significant wait time, when I learned it recently. Specific conditions and all that. At least, we assumed as much, and it eventually paid off. Biggest problem is just that there's loads of extra random excess damage going out everywhere. Helps a ton to have a healer with shields or regens.
this fight is challenging on synced blu, but it is clearable
I cleared in on the 3rd pulls tho, first pull is wiped by snorted out of arena (yes all of us does snorted out of arena), 2nd pull by too many dead imps (and the rest is snorted as well), then 3rd pulls clear flawlessly
Mind telling us why your group wiped ?
we might have some insight if you do...
could it because of too many snorted out of arena ?
or too many imps can't transform back to (whatever race they initially is) ?
enmity jumps everywhere ?
not enough dps ?
not enough healing ?
not enough mitigation ?
dead body everywhere ?

well mostly dps was terrible just about everyone was turned into imp and then snorted off the platform = wipethis fight is challenging on synced blu, but it is clearable

and agro was everywhere. we tried adjusting by having two tanks but that didn't work and also everyone had white wind to my knowledge it was spammed a lot.
When i did Dragon's Neck recently the main problem was that only me and one other player had White Wind. So if both of us got Imped, we would wipe. Still, it requires some coordination, while anyone can WW, you still need someone to tank hits. So if/when your dedicated tank gets imped, someone should pop MG and get aggro from Ultros. Also the only unique spell in this Trial is 4-tonze weight. You can learn Snort and Aqua breath from Carnivale 20. And Aqua Breath is available from Levi as well.
Sometimes rumors are just... rumors.

I learned snort in the Carnival
That's an alternative way to get that one at least... haven't tried for 4 tonze weight yet though
Keep them separated with two tanks. The players that get turned into imps will need to have Ultros do the aqua breath attack on them for the buff, then have them hit Typhoon with it when he goes to the middle and casts. The rest is just dodging. It's a pretty easy fight. There are videos for the fight as well if you want to see the mechanics done properly.
Nowadays you don't even need to do the imp punch on typhon thing. They nerfed the heck out of that fight and as long as you stand in the middle of the platform when he snorts, no one should get knocked off. Even with 8 BLU's, if you're wiping in that fight it is because you are completely disregarding the mechanics of the fight. Stand in the middle when he does the big charge up snort, rotate with ultros when he does the rotating snort, and stay in the center and keep moving forward when he does the repeated snort. Nobody should be wasting time attacking Typhon except the person tanking him, since he will give his HP to Ultros throughout the fight and doesn't really need to be dps'd down at all.
