Ah, Ironman Mode.

Not my cup of tea, especially when it's possible to get ganked by factors wholly out of your control. But i suppose there are people who enjoy that sort of thing.

Have it be an option you can choose at character creation.

Luckily it takes less than a minute to compose a post in the vast majority of cases. Which can also be done from either the comfort of one's home, the daily commute or even when out for a hike. It's also a great way to pass the time when waiting for a roulette queue to pop!

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but why not just simply delete one's character after they die as opposed to adding an in-game feature to facilitate what we already have the ability to do with little additional effort?

Ok I think Perma-death is a dumb idea in games.
But somehow, I actually like this one. Because it would mean people would need to actually be trying and paying attention in a raid.
At the same time...is there a safety net or some leeway for those that get Disconnected? Because as great as this sounds, it can also go against you.
