As well as 2 new trials?
People keep bringing this up yet I see no mention of two trials anywhere. Just the standard Normal and Extreme for Ruby Weapon.

How is that any different than practically every piece of casual content? People typically only do dungeons until they cap. And if they only have interest in say, melee DPS or tanks. They have zero reason to cap once those jobs are geared.

Ex trial: a trial so overtuned (and designed that way) that's it very, very hard to PUG it. You only needed to look at the PF during the first few weeks to see how popular that was.
Welcome to pugs. They always struggle. Hades is no more difficult than Shinryu, Tsukiyomi or most other in between Primals. He's intended to be a bridge between E1S and E2S hence why he drops a i465 weapon.

Ultimate: favoritism content for the minority of the minority of players
You mean content designed after they significantly reduced the difficulty of Savage, thus taking away content from raiders. Bear in mind, not only is that "favoritism content" made almost entirely with reused assets, it also garnered the most interest on Twitch this game has ever seen in its six year history.

Ishgard restauration: a 2 week one-trick pony that only is used for leveling crafters now
Here I agree. While Ishgard Restoration was a neat idea. The fact we could complete it so quickly was disappointing. But FFXIV has always lacked when it comes to content longevity.

The rest I can also agree on, though I hear Blue Mage is better received than the 4.5 iteration. Granted, that wasn't a high bar to top.
