



Did people also miss the other content we are getting? Like a whole new Location for High-end fishing?
As well as 2 new trials?
Whole location, pfft, lol, like a whole reused model of ship and a sea, that's alot of work.
Trials is easier to design than a dungeon, let's be honest, circular area vs big place where you can run around and explore.
But game is nowhere to be close to be considered "dying", rather it's success making pressure on little team that's trying their best while people want from them more, because game grown so much. It's completely SE fault of not getting enough support for devs to not only increase quality, but a quantity of a content as well.




Its still new content. The complaint is we are getting Less. Adding a new High end area for a Gathering Job, and adding 2 new Trials isn't Losing Content.Whole location, pfft, lol, like a whole reused model of ship and a sea, that's alot of work.

Let's pretend you had a good car, then someone changed it to bicycle. You can still ride on it, but it's not a car anymore. Also, one new trial, we were gonna get one anyway on patch cycle like they always do.

I think you might be in the minority for thinking that trials are worse content than dungeons, unless you are a big cycling enthusiast, me personally would take the fishing over both.Let's pretend you had a good car, then someone changed it to bicycle. They would have to completely deconstruct the base to do so, that isn't happening to FFXIV. They just decided that they are gonna cut back on 2 new dungeons per Major Patch, and give us one instead. They are still working on producing new content, and continuing the games MSQ Storyline.
Here is a counter question...why are people flipping out over getting 1 dungeon instead of 2? Especially when people have complained that XIV's dungeons are boring, or dont matter after a run or 3. Maybe by getting 1, they can work on making that 1 better since they can put more time into it. Or heck, Im not gonna sit here and pretend I know things or be an Armchair-Developer, but who is to say that the extra time they took back by doing 1 dungeon instead of 2 won't free up more time for other content? Content that we dont know about yet thats in the works?
Y'know, like the Customization things they said they were doing for the Hrothgar and the Viera that people are complaining about not getting sooner.



I've said it many times before but yeah, everything they've said has made it sound like they couldn't do the missing genders a keep pumping out the amount of content at the pace they are. This decrease is legit the only thing that gives me a tiny dot of hope for ever seeing them.
Here is a counter question...why are people flipping out over getting 1 dungeon instead of 2? Especially when people have complained that XIV's dungeons are boring, or dont matter after a run or 3. Maybe by getting 1, they can work on making that 1 better since they can put more time into it. Or heck, Im not gonna sit here and pretend I know things or be an Armchair-Developer, but who is to say that the extra time they took back by doing 1 dungeon instead of 2 won't free up more time for other content? Im not putting a whole lot of Faith in Male Viera. But unlike the Child character situation, they never made a statement that is is ever happening, nor have they said its never happening. So there is always a chance that MAYBE it might happen. Perhaps next expansion. They did however state that new and Unique Hair options are coming to the 2 new races, so its just a matter of 'When'
