Is it no longer possible to farm the Tank Mounts solo?

This was implemented before you could undersize so you had to do it with a group.

SE needed to give tanks incentives to queue so made this achievement.

It's an exploit whether you knew or not.

It's not an exploit. It is working as intended. Roulettes just can't be spammed. Individual duties can be.

I'm not sure why you quoted the footnote for roulettes, since that's not what OP is doing. And the achievement lists options that can be done undersized and has been updated in 5.0.

I guess I better stop helping clear parties for savage raids since it's a weekly thing.

An exploit is when you use a flaw in the system or coding to do things that were not intended (e.g. BLU leveling exploit). An example of something that people call an exploit while it's not, is the safe spot in P4. You have lots of safe areas outside of the AOEs intersection. It's not a single spot that is safe for some unknown reason as some think. And there many cases where you can squeeze in between lots of AOEs to dodge them.

Nowadays Tank-Mount is farmed in Delta 3.0 with a party of 8 Tanks. A run takes under 2 minutes.

I see undersized tank parties all time in party finder for tank mounts. I got all my arr tank mounts from undersized parties. Doesn't Say anywhere in it have to be in full party synced to get credit towards getting it. Undersized parties is not a exploit the only reason they added tank mounts was because no one was playing tanks so they had to do something to get ones to play as them. How bad healers is getting treated they should add healer mounts for them. Remember way back there was exploit where every time healer healed someone they got exp. for it.

I am not a tank main and have no idea what my own progress is towards any of those mounts, but I always figured that 'undersized parties' wouldn't count. That is pure assumption though. Everyone I know with a tank mount tanks everything from dungeons to at least EX trials in synced content.

Undersized I recall working in the past as long as you actually had other people in the duty with you. You cant really call yourself a tank solo. At that point you're just being a less squishy DPS.

Yeah, the stated text of the achievement is that you need to complete duties as a tank. There aren't restrictions on how you do that other than that for some reason they removed the ability to get them from Trust dungeons for some reason? You don't actually need to queue into public things at all to get it. I'm not sure where everyone's reading the subtext that you should have to?

Maybe it's an honor thing? I couldn't care less about receiving my mount as intended or not. It has worked for years like this.

So soloing a dungeon achievement whose only condition is to run high level dungeons is cheating now? Okay then.

If SE wanted grouping with others to be a requirement, they should've made syncing a requirement. The fact that it isn't means the achievement being soloable is either intended, an oversight, or just a silly move on their part. If they wanted to change it, they've had like... what, four years to change it? /Shrug

If devs considered it cheating it wouldn't work with unsyncing Garuda Ex was so popular in HW/SB for tank mount farm they would've clearly done something about it if they didn't want us to do this. Also think op had bug or something cause it very much still works fine unsync running content, also seven in ShB you can get the Tank achievements by running it with Trust.

Couple salty people upset that what you like doing it the hard way & some would rather do things the quick way, do you consider it cheating when people farm Alexander Savage unsynced for Anima or old achievements like Coils Savage.. how ridiculous.
