I feel the same way. I always get excited at the prospect of revisiting an old dungeon and see how the team have innovated/expanded the concept.I honestly think no more "hard" dungeons is detrimental from a cost/benefit developer perspective. The great thing about hard versions of dungeons from a development perspective is that it reuses previously made assets which saves time and money when making new content. And from a player perspective, it was nice going back to previously visited dungeons and seeing those new paths opened that were previously blocked off. I really thought that was a brilliant use of assets from a design perspective and it evoked nostalgia by giving players in-game story reasons to revisit previous locales.

Revisiting old dungeon in a new form was always nice.
I hope they can one day give us some of them for a new type of content serving some purposes (like new relic).
I am not a fan of this decision.
Dungeons are in my top 5 favorite things to do in this game, they're
also were I go to test my skills out on a job after I get done reading tool tips, practicing rotations and watching a vid on how said job is suppose to be played, pretty much I decide if a job is for me or not after I get it to Max lvl and try it out a few times in the latest dungeon.
Plus I get a lot of social interaction from doing them with friends and the strangers I meet in there, but most importantly dungeons are really fun content to me so id rather us not get less dungeons, keep on the same amount of give me more dungeons.
Don't care as long as Amaurot is removed from the expert roulette with the next one.
Welp we getting Eureka 2.0 at least it something worth our grind.
Amaurot takes hardly more effort than the alternatives. People who can't cope with a few dungeons being almost imperceptibly more work or slower than others is precisely why everything is so streamlined now.
Also removing any dungeons from Expert Roulette at all is a terrible idea if they're gonna only add 1 per patch.

As long as it benefits us all in some way I'm fine with losing a dungeon. If it doesn't, then, well...

No! Absolutely not! Mythic plus dungeons is full of toxic jerks which killed wow and made me quit the game. I assure you if they add something like this lots of people will unsubscribe including myself. And that will kill FF14.
People say the same about Extreme and Savage and those aren't making you quit the game, are they? Extreme/Savage level dungeons also have the advantage that it's a lot more realistic to do them solely with friends, given you only need 3 buddies, as opposed to the 7 you need for Savage.
