I love dungeons, favorite thing in the game to do but I don't want them to take away for the sake of taking away. If they wanna trade-off by making unique dungeons then okay I guess...I want them to make it pre-nerf Pharos Sirius and Wanderers Palace too. Current dungeons are so face roll easy so I would like dungeons a bit more creative and actually a bit difficult.

But if they start giving is dungeons every other patch them no, just no.

Okay bye boring linear 4 man trash encounter that barely counted as instanced content. You won't be missed by me.

I love interesting designed dungeons like the latest one from 5.1 I loved it, so as long as it means that 1 dg a patch is made to be really interesting I won't mind.

If anything I wish they didn't have new jobs too high a lvl as it gives me a beneficial reason to use older dungeons for lvling the job. I'd be happy if all future jobs started at 50 but I know I'm in the minority there.

Yeah one would think that with more and more subs we get more content on top of the basics stuff instead of getting less basics stuff with each expansion.

In the end if they take away something for the casual players then please use this for content that is for casuals.

I honestly think no more "hard" dungeons is detrimental from a cost/benefit developer perspective. The great thing about hard versions of dungeons from a development perspective is that it reuses previously made assets which saves time and money when making new content. And from a player perspective, it was nice going back to previously visited dungeons and seeing those new paths opened that were previously blocked off. I really thought that was a brilliant use of assets from a design perspective and it evoked nostalgia by giving players in-game story reasons to revisit previous locales.

How many men am I involved with? Well that depends... do you mean men as in males? Or just midlanders?

I know they are overall pointless and boring to many, but I like dungeons. The plan is always to remove these to work on other things, which is fine. My personal issue is that they remove the things I like to make things that I don't like. I guess it's just bad luck for me and it can't be helped.

I feel the same way. I always get excited at the prospect of revisiting an old dungeon and see how the team have innovated/expanded the concept.

Revisiting old dungeon in a new form was always nice.
I hope they can one day give us some of them for a new type of content serving some purposes (like new relic).

Well, in Stormblood, they added Ultimate, Eureka/Baldesion Arsenal, Thief Map, Blue Mage Masked Carnival, two trials (one collaboration and one from Hildibrand), and PVP content update. Whether or not these end up being interesting for people is subjective, but they're indeed something new.

In Shadowbringers, we'll have to see what they try to come up with other than Trust system. There is that second trial for 5.2, and potentially a third Ultimate. That said, outside of combat content, we do already have new content in other areas, though I don't know how that would affect dungeon development.

I am not a fan of this decision.

Dungeons are in my top 5 favorite things to do in this game, they're
also were I go to test my skills out on a job after I get done reading tool tips, practicing rotations and watching a vid on how said job is suppose to be played, pretty much I decide if a job is for me or not after I get it to Max lvl and try it out a few times in the latest dungeon.

Plus I get a lot of social interaction from doing them with friends and the strangers I meet in there, but most importantly dungeons are really fun content to me so id rather us not get less dungeons, keep on the same amount of give me more dungeons.
