We'll get another MSQ trial in 5.3.

We'll never know tbh. With Stormblood they didn't do a battle or trial against Amaterasu even though we had trials against Susano-o and Tsukiyomi. They could have taken that further and done Izanagi as well.

Yeah, sadly they didn't, one can hope only that SE grabs up these two missed trials somehow later eventually as Hildebrand Trial Fights when is journey somehow lets him return to SB regions where Amaterasu n Izanagi/Izanami could play a role in there.
