How are you supposed to beat certain Masked Carnivale fights?

There's videos all over youtube for how to get these fights done. I tried the fight on my own first, and after some wipes I go watch some videos, and that's how a I've done everything.

All those videos overly rely on Final Sting which has been nerfed out so those strategies don't work.
