Sometimes you get burned out from playing ff14 so much that you need to take a break and play something else.
What i am playing at the moment:
GTA V online
M.U.G.E.N.
Outlast.
What are you all playing?

Everquest
Any of a number of console / handheld s/trpg's.
Right now, Destiny 2 on PC and Shovel Knight on my Switch.
- Resident Evil 2 Remake
- Fire Emblem: Three Houses
- The Witcher 3
The Doom series, the Heretic and Hexen series, the PC versions of Halo 1 and 2, Oblivion, Skyrim (rarely). A bunch of other Steam games that I play so rarely, I don't even have them downloaded.
Used to play GTA V online until it became 100% grind or pay. Avoiding RDR2 online for this
Now however Halo Reach. owo
Sometimes goof around in gw2
Play Dragon's Dogma for hours while praying for a sequel
If I'm not messing around in the Creation Kit, I'm playing Fallout 4.
Battlefront 2 most recently due to the celebration edition coming out for it. Otherwise, usually Civ 6, Stardew Valley, Battletech, Elite Dangerous, and also still working my way through The Witcher 2.
SWTOR and WoW.
That said, I have never taken any break from FFXIV since I started playing it. I log in almost every day to do things in FFXIV, but I don't spend my entire free time in FFXIV unless I'm doing something with the FC that takes time to do.
I do take breaks from SWTOR and WoW, and I play either or both when I feel like it, as I have been recently.
I don't really have the time or interest to play other games lately, but that could change any time if a new game catches my interest.
As a MS-DOS DooM fan, I am kinda delighted. Hexen is great, too. It's that game where you can play as the Cleric, Mage or Warrior. At a certain point, you enter the tomb of your selected class and fight "yourself".
The Warrior's mirror-enemy is called...
Yes, that is where I got my name from.
Sincerely,
a MS-DOS gamer.
