Any word on when we will get an Auction House?

Honestly the only thing MW was ever going to be of any worth was the rare situation if it prevented RMT actions in the game.

I can honestly say that I've never in my entire life played a MMO with more RMT than this game.
RMT bots honestly make up a sizable massive chunk of the entire population on my server.

AH is the most wanted feature ever talked about on lodestone. It has spawned hundreds of threads with thousands of replies.

Even if they wanted to preserve MW as a secondary option I cannot understand why they aren't addressing this need.

It's the most requested item after quests bar-none.

when you buy from MW:
if you buy one item, then fine, search for it then zone to get it.
if you want to buy several items, then you have to zone multiple times, and that's very bad design.
at AH you don't need to zone.

when you sell through MW:
you need to go to item search to see the price of the item then zone to your retainer, then you need to exchange with your retainer then cancel then view bazaar then sell the item, if you want to sell an item that is not listed there is no history list like the AH.

so comparing MW with AH?

I don't mind the ward system other than the fact i forget which area the retainer is in that im looking for forcing me to look twice through the laggy menu system.

Anyway, MW sucks.
Zone for each item sucks.
Have to have 1 retainer for each ward sucks(if everyone wants to have most of their items in the right ward that is)
Always crashing + tossing retainers out of the wards sucks.

Unless they make it like a AH, where you dont have to zone in to sell/buy , yeah dont need a AH if they make it this way.

Just make retainers to store items, sell...not so good.

We all know they'll never get rid of the market wards because they plan to charge for every retainer you have. There's no way they're losing out on all that extra cash...

Seeing as how MW was and still is one of the top complaints about this game... I'm pretty sure they're definitely losing out on all that extra cash and more.

OP didn't ask or make a topic to start a debate about yes or no to AH, he simply asked if there is any word on it. Some people don't want it but I want it more than anything in FFXIV. But I guess it being at 11+ pages means we might get a dev post on this if there hasn't already been one.
