You would have to take my word for it, but I actively avoid using certain pairs of shorts or skirts that reveal the backside because when it's revealed it just looks off for lack of better words. You can find old threads on the issue where people too mention that it just looks "off" and it's not pleasant to look at. Though some posterior-enthusiasts detract the point of the threads going on about wanting butts that'd use some flattering but not appropriate adjectives.

If a character's arms were too skinny compared to the rest of them, or the waist too thin for the rest of their bodies, there'd be threads about that too. Taking a look at your join date it's no surprise that you might not know how deeply aged this topic is (ever since relaunch), and if you look into it developers openly admit flatter backsides were for the sake of easing development for new armors.

I'd argue she has a butt that looks fairly natural.

Midlanders overall do look more correct than Miqo'te and Roegadyn. People point to Elezen female suffering from the flat-rears as well.

I remember being in ARR just being absolutely bothered at how my character looked in the caster ironworks armor with her rear end exposed in those pants with the lines straight down the buttcheeks and them actually bending inwards at points instead of outwards. >.< I pretty much wear only tops with buttcapes to avoid that scenario again.

Even with the pose being different isn't there something distinctly lacking? Cheeks for the matter? The vertical space itself is dwarfed compared to what it was on the left.
