The pattern of SE being "regressive", and "censoring" the booty what else. It's like the number one diatribe.

Striking leggings are not ok too. If you mix them with 2b boots the stocking disappear.I thought of that but don't have the drg legs to try it. I have the healer legs and striking legs. The striking legs seem to be ok. I couldn't find any pair of long boots that caused an issue with them.
But the healers bottoms get a tear in inner thighs that stretches across the lower band when paired with every single long boots that I tried, so I decided to put them under water while glitched to see if interesting happens. The stockings disappear like expected. The tear remains in the band. No crazy leg holes open up or anything like that.

Are you trying to be sarcastic, or did you misunderstand what I was saying? (Or did I misunderstand the person I quoted? I don't think I did on a second read.)The pattern of SE being "regressive", and "censoring" the booty what else. It's like the number one diatribe.

As I read it, they seem to be saying there is a pattern of SE doing things like adjusting the 2B model, possibly due to "higher-ups or the ethics department".
If that was the case, where are the other things to make that a "pattern"? You can't claim a pattern from one point of evidence.
To be honest, I've always thought SE has a bit of an obsession with T&A. There are a lot of bosses scattered around with either gigantic (barely covered) boobs, or big ol' bums (also barely covered). Echidna always comes to mind first when thinking of the arses.
Sure, the character models themselves are severely lacking, but I doubt that's because they don't like bums. My guess is that the real reason is probably tangled up somewhere between "flat arses make copying gear between the races easier and will save on dev time" and "server limitations".
Oh you're right. I guess i didn't notice at first because I was looking for rips. That would mean every single raid pants have glitches with long boot? I think healer shares the same model with fending, aiming and casting, so they probably all have issues. And NIN has the striking model? DRG has its own and that's been shown to be really messed up.
Even simpler, it's a matter of making all the gear "mix-and-matchable" - all coats and sashes on chestpieces flare out to create room for any choice of pants/skirts to sit underneath. Bottoms are small to prevent the clipping previously complained about and leading to this adjustment, without needing tops to stick out even further than they already do.Sure, the character models themselves are severely lacking, but I doubt that's because they don't like bums. Unique character designs like Echidna don't have that issue. They only need to wear the one outfit (or lack thereof) which will be modelled specifically for them, with no need for it to be compatible with anything else.
You misunderstood the person you were quoting. They are alluding to the same thing, "regression", censorship, etc. If you want proof, you already provided that part of the quote(s), and I provided the bug report link, here's more:Are you trying to be sarcastic, or did you misunderstand what I was saying? It’s like, let me get this straight. Bust sliders are okay, however, hip and/or butt sliders are not. Fine. But butt items aren’t either? Okay, this tells me that someone or multiple developers are highly against curvy rears. And if it indeed is an ethics department issue, then simply modify current glamour to give a more realistic rear. I understand in Japan or Korea, the way women normally look is different than here. However, final Fantasy is supposed to appeal to many demographics in the west too. And in case you didn’t know, Square, not all of us are built that way. I do not have a rear that looks like that. Many women do not.

A big issue I have with XIV is that the gear pieces only look good with their intended set. Unlike a lot of other games, though I find role locks to be the primary issue. The Makai Priestess arm pieces are rockin' but can only be worn by healer.Even simpler, it's a matter of making all the gear "mix-and-matchable" - all coats and sashes on chestpieces flare out to create room for any choice of pants/skirts to sit underneath. But anyway. I liked how many options unlocked with the raid gear. The boots, the gowns, and of course, the panties. Yoko Taro said that base gear (because he didn't know how to glam) was ugly. This honestly felt like a gift for players to be able to mix and match.
But ope, panties caused a glitch. Gotta have a "fix" that breaks something else. Shoulda just fixed the sheer on skin and called it a night.
Yes, they are talking about "regression" and "censorship" regarding this issue, you and they have both pointed to the same bug report, made today by a fan about this issue, and somehow this adds up to a pattern of SE censoring things.
What are the other things? Where is the pattern of things that SE has done that are in the same vein as but not involving this one 2B model?
Very much personal taste there, though. I very rarely wear a complete set of gear for any of my glamours - I'd say a maximum of two matching pieces per outfit, and often entirely 'mismatched' - and I think they look better than the base outfits.
