I have a feeling this change may have been done to address the clipping with certain tops (Which were not designed with the enhanced booty in mind), though the effects may have extended past the things it was actually causing problems with.

I wouldn't be against of that solution personally, but they did what they did. And until now they never gave an option to choose how item will look except it's a head, so I doubt they are going to do it anytime soon... if ever. Then the solution is simple:
Simply mark it as "working as intended, use a different bottom if you don't like it".
They seem to be fine with YorHa blindfolds sticking stupidly out of the back of lala's heads with literally every hairstyle but destroy the most popular glamour effect I've ever seen in FF?
Restore the butt and tell people trying to use it in ways not intended to pound sand.
About Lalafell head clipping though: I wonder if people reported it often enough to them notice it? They probably fixed bottom exactly because it's popular, so when problem occured people bothered enough to write report about this. I mean... ideally, one report should be pretty much enough for them to look into bug, but I think we all understand that it's not how it works, sadly.

The popularity of this glamour item shows how much people loved the "prosthetic", "droopy" butt.the word prosthetic refers to an artificial body part that is used to compensate for a part that is missing or not functioning. These pants are essentially that. Most other pants give you a shape close to your character’s “natural” butt.
And yes, it is droopy, and even flatter than usual
People are mourning this change that breaks most glamour combinations to fix a tiny few, and they're right to want this reverted.
There are plenty of other bottoms for people who want to glamour the wedding dresses.
Has anyone filed a bug report about the headbands on Lalafells? That's how you get them to look at fixing things. This thread is the first mention I've seen of there being a issue.
Are the middle and right images meant to be the same? I can't see a difference, and I assume they're both the non-flattened version since there's no other gear equipped.the word prosthetic refers to an artificial body part that is used to compensate for a part that is missing or not functioning. It's probably been said a bunch of times before, but I'd honestly rather have clipping with the butt on a few items rather than having it flattened on most of the clothing I use the bottom with.
Makes the 2b gear feel much less valuable. Square pls.
Yes! I love that screenshot! If you take context into account:
I was hoping someone would pick up on that. I like talking about myself. This is just a ninja outfit I made, with a theme in mind. Similar to Elektra (futuristic).

In this case it makes sense to have those bottoms. I was referring to people who use butt armor on every single top they have. I don't do that. Just to shut down any argument in case there is one, I could care less about the butt armor. It works for this glamour I made, and no I don't seriously wear it. I wore it for about 2 days of HoH on my ninja, and I haven't wore it, or been on my ninja since. The mask on that top clips through almost every hair in the game. Girl, don't even get me started on the glams I make, or have made. I'll be writing a thesis right here...
I didn't think anyone would notice. Worth it.
What's weird is how they selectively fix things. Many other things get reported that get overlooked, or never "fixed". Was the butt clipping when using the sit emote or whatever really that big of a deal?About Lalafell head clipping though: I wonder if people reported it often enough to them notice it? Unless people were looking upskirt, can you even really see the butt? How bad was the clipping? I never used the sit emote, so even when I wore the 2b set I didn't notice any issues. The biggest issue I noticed with 2b was tail clipping, specifically on miqo'te with the puffy tail (like mine). The popularity of this glamour item shows how much people loved the "prosthetic", "droopy" butt.

The 2b buttoms morph your entire bottom half. You get curves (you still have the curves) but you have a deflated butt. The 2b shoes make your legs look extremely skinny. They were definitely prosthetic.
By the eight* divines. A faithful Imperial citizen would know that. Perhaps there's something you wish to confess?![]()

I did, twice, with separate screenshot galleries for head bandage (stormblood) and YorHa type 51 (5.1)
They were both "accepted" (months before 5.0 for the head bandage).
Instead of fixes for that, we get "breaks" for 98% of "2-booty" glamour combinations.
This kind of thing ticks me off enough to be outraged even as a lala with no personal dog in the fight.
I'm a mentor on my server and my community is in tears over this.
Bingo.
There is no point to the YorHa bottoms over others with the most recent change.

I understand that and they should make it do what it's supposed to. It's funny how much people love it when it's obviously mocking those that want actual changes to the character models( butt slider, butt options). It seem people just want a butt hanging out and not a more wide reaching solution. If you really like that butt, you only get it in those pants. If you like those pants, you only them with that butt. The popularity of this glamour item shows how much people loved the "prosthetic", "droopy" butt.

The game would need to be fundamentally overhauled to allow proportional sliders, including back-porting of some ~50,000 equipment assets.
Simply reverting this "fix" is a much more pragmatic solution, at least until they can "reborn" the realm again under unreal engine or something.
It depends on what was intended with the fix. What was no doubt intended was the skin tone fix, for bottoms and top. If flat butt isn't a bug, rather if it was intended, then there is nothing to revert. If they see the backlash, like here, perhaps they would revert that? The game would need to be fundamentally overhauled to allow proportional sliders, including back-porting of some ~50,000 equipment assets.
