Where have all of the butts gone???
Please send help my family is dying

Does Yoko Taro know about this tradegy? I really would like to know what he would say!

Patch 4.15: 11/21/2017
Patch 4.18: 12/12/2017
Assuming the feedback is relayed to the developers, I guess we won't really know whether this is getting reverted until 5.18 drops. Seeing 4.15~4.18 took about 3 weeks, I guess we'll have to wait until either the very end of December or early January to find out. 5.18 date would fall on 12/31/2019, but I wouldn't know whether they actually drop patches on New Year's Eve.

Minions of the 2booty should be swarming any dev Q&A from now until the sacred cheeks are restored!

I think it's pretty telling that the only two arguments I really see against a reversion here are either people saying "I don't care, so why do you care?" and people just spitefully enjoying that people caring about something they don't care about are complaining, which is basically the same thing. I don't think I've seen anyone actually go "hey I use the legs and like this change, thanks SE" in here.
I mean heck, I don't even use the legs, but I side with the people getting mad when they're the ones actually using the thing that got changed. Imagine if SE suddenly patched all of the housing glitches that people use to make amazing-looking houses and then people who don't even own a house or apartment just go "heh, that's what you get for breaking the housing rules!", like c'mon, let em have their fun.

To me it's less that they like the legs, and more that they feel the devs intentionally slighted them. Like the devs looked at what the players were enjoying and went" hey, let's make these people mad this patch, it'll be a great laugh". One person claimed to have unsubbed over it.I think it's pretty telling that the only two arguments I really see against a reversion here are either people saying "I don't care, so why do you care?" and people just spitefully enjoying that people caring about something they don't care about are complaining, which is basically the same thing. This thread easily could have simply been: hey devs, the changes you made to the gear to fix this issue also did this, which breaks textures and also the characters shape for some, please look into it and fix the issues.
AND to be fair, there are a few posts like that. But many are "omg the devs hate butts, all my glams are ruined, I demand it be reverted right now!"

its the OF, theres gonna be more than your usual fair share of hyperbole going on. That being said, yeah I dunno what the devs were thinking. If theres anything that get people riled up real quick, its altering assets in the game that ruin peoples glams or character look and feel. I think they made things way worse in their pursuit of fixing a pretty minor thing and I imagine that theyre seeing pushback on the other localizations as well.To me it's less that they like the legs, and more that they feel the devs intentionally slighted them. Like the devs looked at what the players were enjoying and went" hey, let's make these people mad this patch, it'll be a great laugh". One person claimed to have unsubbed over it.

Then ... don't focus on them? Black list people who whine "Lazy devs, can't even get THIS right" and keep it moving. It's what I do, no point in reading crap from people who want to take this as an excuse to b&m about the devs.To me it's less that they like the legs, and more that they feel the devs intentionally slighted them. Here's all you need to focus on, a highly sought after and highly anticipated glam gear from a recent bit of content that worked perfectly fine before is now suddenly altered in an unappealing way for most ALL tops for absolutely no reason in a patch designed to correct clipping for a few rare instances. There are other graphical errors that came with the fix to the transparent parts and over all many thins seem to not be working as intended.
There, anything else is just fluff.
All the emotional whining taking this as a personal attack is just noise. All the trolly schadenfreude post is just noise. Don't engage with it.
