I’m sorry that some of us prefer our characters to look like they have a backside. I’d love to see how asking for a rounder bottom has gotten the game this “negative feedback”, though. Asking for more character customization isn’t a crime; and I think people are well within they’re rights to make such a request.

I don’t play other MMOs, so what they do doesn’t really matter to me. But I do play this one, so I’d like for my character to look nice.

N'ah, it's more because characters had butts in 1.0 (pretty sure they slimmed down hips and thighs, too, but that could just be in my head). It makes the character model look more realistic/higher quality because it's anatomically correct (or correct enough because there are booties of all sorts). The main issue I have with our current butts is that they're unrealistically flat, they make the models look too flat as a result. They really don't need to make bottoms round and plump, but they really should... make butts be butts instead of planks of wood.

I'm a woman, and have never played a game with a butt slider, and even I think the butts in this game look terrible, and need a lot of love. Even when I was underweight at 5'4" and 43kgs, I never had a butt as flat as these characters. It just doesn't look right! Especially since our characters are so active, they at least need a bit more muscle in there!
I play Au Ra, who have quite wide hips compared to their waist, and it just looks weird when they have a flat butt. Usually wider hips = slightly bigger butts, but that's not the case in this game for w/e reason

It's not that dramatic but there is certainly a difference and personally I don't think they needed to change it. I think this twitter post does a good job of showing the difference.

Feature is given to players, hooray! Feature is then taken away for the most inane of reasons when there are others visibly worse that have not been fixed in over 5 years. Please, tell me why players shouldn't be upset and voicing their opinions as consumers?

And unlike the all caps, five exclamation point tantrums that have happened upon the OF, this thread has honestly been quite civil. I dearly hope that this thread is seen and brought to attention to those with the power to change things back.

And I wish I could read Japanese and other languages to see what the rest of the playerbase outside NA is saying about it.
