Except it isn't pancake butt. It's a smoothly rounded butt typical of a person of such slender build.

As someone who weights 120 pounds and is slender i take offense lol.
Most women, even very skinny ones, have way more of a butt than that. Unless you were refering to 90 year old slender women, for most people a butt that flat is more unnatural than the original 2b butt, that or you sit too much and dont exercise.

That's a lot of salt over a mediocre glamour in this thread.

Perhaps the change was brought forth by Square Enix's recently created ethics department?

they covered up tifa in the 7 remake and covered up rinoa more aswell so yep this seems likely and im not suprised anymore.

I’m sorry, but this was such a petty change to the item. It’s supposed to mimic 2B, but because the butt was too “big”, they make it flat again. He knows how many people have been asking for a Butt slider. An item that doesn’t give our characters pancakes finally comes out, and he has to water it down like that.

Geez, not only is it petty, but they clearly have an obvious bias. Bust sliders are allowed, but god forbid bigger tushies and more character facial options are implemented. This is beyond petty, wow. I’m lost.

As far as I can get, they did it because of clipping issues (there were screenshots where parts of skin were showing through dresses, including those from Nier Raid). Sadly or not, fixing meshes of every long body in the game takes much more time than making one piece look smaller under long clothes. If you wear short top - it should show same as it did until now.

Then the solution is simple:
Simply mark it as "working as intended, use a different bottom if you don't like it".

They seem to be fine with YorHa blindfolds sticking stupidly out of the back of lala's heads with literally every hairstyle but destroy the most popular glamour effect I've ever seen in FF?

Restore the butt and tell people trying to use it in ways not intended to pound sand.
