How would you describe your server?

Friendlier than people give it credit for and was surprisingly unlike the memes once made us out to be. I said was, because World Visit basically made the memes a reality with all the Wanderers flooding in. Ul'dah is the living embodiment of General Chat and all the nastiness that entails now. Bring a hazmat suit.

I still miss old Mateus (that server was like the JP of NA during those days xD) but Diabolos isn't bad. Feels about the same as any other server honestly.

I love my server, it has a bad rep, but come across a lot of fun, friendly and pretty cool people, plus am an RPer, so I get a lot of good RP out of it. I feel much of our bad rep stems from the Quicksands and the people associated with it, I don’t know if the rep still has validity as that’s a part of the community I’m not in proximity of.

People standing in one spot afk for 6 straight days without ever logging out and i'm frightened

They get booted with the maintenance of course, but then they log back in and get right back to standing in once spot for the next week.

Is this a thing on other servers? Because it's terrifying. There's also this guy who makes a point to afk in locations where he will specifically be in everybody's view but where nobody will stand by him so he can look like an edgy lone wolf.

We have a Roe in a moogle hat in Limsa doing the Vanu dance and opposite him we have a clone doing the exact same thing, they’re always there without fail. Then I once saw him running around and that broke my immersion.

It's pretty subdued I think. Lots of crafters around. As for FCs and such I've been in the same one for awhile. A few of my friends formed it before they knew me, though most of them don't play much nowadays. I'm loyal, so...I stick around even if I don't have much to talk about. Hopefully the FC scene is alright in the event I do make a change.

I like Adamantoise, it’s not much different than the other servers I’ve been on but being on it so long I’ve started to recognize people around the Aetheryte/MB and its nice to see familiar faces, even if they’re strangers.

But I plan on transferring soon so I can re join the Twin Adder and set my home point back to Gridania from Ul’dah, as I’d rather not hang out there due to a certain unsavoury group that I have history with who calls the place home. I suppose they make Gridania really active though :/

Because people can't see past the Quicksands and the erp memes and if they looked elsewhere in the server, they would be surprised. Ironically the server is very friendly and approachable as opposed to the social gremlins that need to talk down about it. And for some reason, being a roleplayer automatically means you're bad at doing content.
