Game changed to FFXI style?

FFXIV should be party based but not as strict. Where If I want the best way to level I would get a party. However, If I don't have time I can still make some progress. Which is one thing I thought they were aiming for.

I agree. I would like to have like partying is the best option but you could still solo to progress as well.
