I practiced Castrum Fluminis about 5 times until I could go through as a BLM without dying in a single run. Then I accessed The Burn, watched packs of enemies melt, only for the boss of that one to catch me in a cross of AoEs while I was just getting unfrozen and died horribly.

Mist Dragon was/is a step up in boss difficulty for sure.
